The City of Pleasant Valley is structured and operates under the Strong-Mayor Plan. The current mayor, Barbara Metcalfe, was an elected member of the first city council in 1996. Jack Bish served as the first Mayor. We welcome new business. Our current business partners are located in high visibility areas along Pleasant Valley Rd., near the Interstate and along the Airport Road. Development here is primarily highway oriented with hotels, restaurants and gas stations to serve the needs of travelers and users of the municipal airport.
